IS calls to set conditions to ensure contracts’ validity of Infrastructure law draft
The spokesperson of the IS, Maysoun al-Damlouji, stated in a press conference held at the parliament building on Thursday “The Iraqiya Slate is adherent to rebuild the infrastructure of Iraq and welcomes any initiative that helps to develop it since the Slate has considered this law draft as a good initiative for improving the services presented to the citizens.”
“The IS was surprised because its suggestions were not included within the modifications set by the committee formed to modify this law draft which will allow wasting the public funds and delaying the performance of the projects in addition to keeping the wealth of Iraq in the hand of foreign companies,” she concluded.
Earlier, the parliament has postponed voting on this law draft for another announcement due to the lack of quorum.
