IED defused in Madaen area

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A security force managed to defuse an Improvised Explosive Device IED in southern Baghdad.

Security source stated to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com on Monday that “The Explosive Ordinance Disposal experts managed to defuse an IED which was emplaced on a roadside in Madaen area of southern Baghdad,” noting that “The IED was discovered by a police patrol.”

The source added “The IED was defused without any material damage or human casualties.”
