IED goes off in Anbar

Anbar, Ramadi (IraqiNews.com) Two police officers were injured due to explosion of an Improvised Explosive Device IED in eastern Ramadi.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Monday that ”The IED, which was emplaced on a roadside, exploded, targeting police patrol, in Fallujah district of eastern Ramadi city the center of Anbar province,” noting that “The explosion resulted in injuring a Major and a Captain of the police patrol.”

The source added “The police forces cordoned the explosion area and transported the two injured officers to the hospital for treatment.”
