Qanat al-Jaish project to be implemented on time, says Baghdad Mayor

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad Acting Mayor, Abdul Hussein al-Murshidi, stressed that “The project of developing the Qanat al-Jaish area will be implemented on schedule to provide more than (60) amusement utilities that would serve (4) million citizens from Baghdad population.”

A statement by Baghdad Mayor-ship reported on Thursday “The Acting Mayor received, Mohamed Sami Saad, the Deputy Chairman of the Management Council of the Egyptian-Arab Contractors Company, which is responsible for implementing the Qanat al-Jaish project.”

“The meeting discussed the stages of implementing the project and the achieved rates of the implementation, besides discussing the participation of the Egyptian famous companies in carrying out projects of the reconstruction and investment in Baghdad during the upcoming stage,” the statement added.
