Death verdicts executed for 6 criminals

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Justice executed the death verdicts against six criminals who faced final judicial verdicts issued against them and endorsed by the presidency council.

The Iraqi reform directorate reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com that ”Among the criminals who were executed is the criminal, Abdul Rahman Yasin Turky who bombed the vehicle which exploded near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2009, and, a fugitive, of the Tikrit Tasfirat prison, who has been captured recently by the security forces.”

The directorate confirmed that ”The death verdicts which were issued by the criminal courts were subject to appeal by the personal defence lawyers of the convicted for making sure of the crimes in their criminal files, then the presidency finally endorsed the verdicts.” \
