IED explodes targeting checkpoint in eastern Ramadi

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) A policeman was killed and other was injured due to an Improvised Explosive Device explosion targeting a checkpoint in Faluja district of eastern Ramadi city, capital of Anbar province.

A security source mentioned on Saturday “An IED was planted in a police checkpoint resulted in killing one of the checkpoint’s elements and wounding other one near Faluja Martyrs Cemetery of eastern Ramadi.”

“The police transported the dead body to the morgue and the injured policeman to a hospital for treatment,” the source added.
