1st Housing Association formed in Anbar University

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Anbar University announced electing the first cooperative Housing Association, headed by the Dr. Khalel Ibraheem al-Dulaimi.

The Ministry of Higher Education reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Friday that ”The association which is considered the first in Iraq to be formed by Iraqi universities aims to provide the appropriate residence for the scientists and teachers of the university and contribute in solving housing crisis in Iraq as well as cooperating with the concerned directorates in the province to start the implementation of the project.”

The statement added that “The Director of the Media Department in Anbar University Rafaat Mutar al-Duliami explained that the members of the association were chosen according to the voting method which added a democratic impact to the voting process.”
