Kinani rules out settling current political crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ameer al-Kinani, of Ahrar bloc ruled out settling the current political crisis.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “Holding meetings by the President, Jalal Talabani, with the other political leaders will waste the time attempting to solve the crisis which will not be solved unless the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, promise the implement the former agreements among the political sides.”

“We think that the crisis will be settled through implementing the former agreements otherwise Talabani’s meetings are fruitless,” he concluded.

Iraq witnesses political crisis lasted for several months due to the disputes among the political sides related to the partnership and other issues which led some blocs to call for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, after holding meetings in Najaf and Erbil provinces.
