Transports Ministry denies presence of US inspectors at BIAP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The advisor of the Minister of Transports, Karim al-Nouri, denied the “presence of any American inspectors in Baghdad International Airport to inspect Iranian planes or others.”

He said in a statement received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) today that “These reports are groundless and they aim at this time is to confuse the significant role played by the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority.”

He added that “The task of inspection of any aircraft that passes the Iraqi airspaces is the authority of the Iraqi aviation authorities exclusively.”
