Undersecretary Receives Hungarian Delegation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Foreign Affairs Undersecretary for Policy Planning and Bilateral Relations, Labid Abbawi, received a Hungarian delegation led by Head of the Middle East and Africa Department at the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Kiza Mihayi.

A statement by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by IraqiNews.com cited “The two sides discussed mechanism to reopen the Hungarian Embassy in Baghdad.”

“Abbawi expressed readiness to assist the Hungarian delegation in its mission in all fields, stressing the necessity of reopening the Hungarian Embassy in Baghdad for its importance in enhancing bilateral relations,” the statement added.

“For its part, the delegation thanked the Undersecretary for the hospitality and facilitation provided by the Ministry for the success of the delegation’s mission,” the statement concluded.
