8 Smuggling trucks seized in Samara

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) A security force seized eight trucks loaded with sulphur prepared to be smuggled in southern Salah-il-Din province.

Security source stated to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com on Thursday that “A force of Samara Operations Command implemented a security operation in Rakah area, of southern Samara city, which resulted in seizing eight big trucks loaded with hard sulphur material coming from Nineveh province and intended to be smuggled to Um Qasr sea port of southern Basra province ,” noting that “The drivers of the trucks were arrested also.”

The source added “The operation was based on intelligence information which was reported that the smuggling operation included (23) truck loaded with hard sulphur.”
