2 persons injured in western Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) A policeman and a civilian were injured due to an Improvised Explosive Device explosion targeted a patrol belongs to the Federal Police in western Mosul city, capital of Nineveh province.

A security source stated to IraqiNews.com on Sunday “An IED was planted in a roadside of a public market in western Mosul targeted the FP’s patrol resulted in injuring a policeman and a civilian who was accidently near the blast place.”

“A security force rushed to the incident spot and blocked the area, then transported the wounded persons to a hospital for treatment,” the source added.
