Samarayi expresses concerns over corruption to accompany Infrastructure Law

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mutashar al-Samarayi, of the Iraqiya Slate expressed “His concerns over financial corruption to accompany the Infrastructure Law if endorsed,” stressing “The necessity of rehabilitating the infrastructure in the country.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Iraq underwent a destruction in all its aspects including the infrastructure projects that are out of service,” I am not against the endorsement of this law but I have concerns that it will involve corruption.”

“All the corruption files referred to the judicial sides without punishment due to the confessionalism in the political process,” he concluded.

The parliament did not discuss the Infrastructure Law during last Saturday session due to disputes among the blocs over its draft.
