Zebari receives credentials of new US Ambassador to Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hoshyar Zebari received a copy of the credentials of the new US Ambassador to Iraq, Robert Steven Beecroft.

A statement by the FM mentioned on Sunday “Zebari met with the new US Ambassador where he welcomed his appointment and stressed the Iraqi Government’s eagerness to offer assistance for the embassy to enhance the bilateral cooperation between peoples of both countries.”

It is worth to mention that the US Ambassador to Iraq Beecroft arrived to Baghdad on last Thursday.
