IP killed in southern Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) A police element was killed due to an armed attack in southern Mosul.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Monday ”Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting a police patrol in Shura district of southern Mosul, the capital of Nineveh province,” noting that “The armed attack resulted in killing an element of the police patrol.”

The source added “The gunmen managed to flee after the attack while the police transported the dead body of the policeman to the morgue.” \
