URGENT – Religious Authority announces Wednesday as 1st day of Tho al-Hija Hijri month

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The Supreme Religious Authorities in Najaf province announced Wednesday as the first day of Tho al-Hija Hijri month consequently the Friday of the next week will be the first day of Eid al-Adha.

A source from the office of the Religious Authority in Najaf province stated to IraqiNews.com “The Religious Authorities Ayatollah, Ali al-Sistani, Ayatollah, Mohamed Saeed al-Hakim, announced Wednesday to be the first day of Tho al-Hija Hijri month.”

Earlier, the Religious Authorities in Najaf province called, on last Tuesday, the Muslims to observe the crescent to identify the first day of Tho al-Hija Hijri month.

The reporter of IraqiNews.com stated “The four Religious Authorities who are Ayatollah, Ali al-Sistani, Ayatollah, Mohamed Saeed al-Hakim, Ayatollah, Mohamed Isihaq al-Fayadh, and Ayatollah, Basheer al-Najafi, called the Muslims to see watch out the crescent to identify the first day of Tho al-Hija Hijri month.”

The Saudi Arabia announced next Wednesday as the first day of Tho al-Hija Hijri month.
