Mayahi calls to allocate some of oil incomes overabundant to Diwaniya province

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aziz al-Mayahi, of the While bloc called the parliament to allocate some of the overabundant of the oil incomes to develop Diwaniya province.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday, Mayahi shows surprise over “The negligence of the parliament and some ministries to the calls of developing Diwaniya province,” pointing out” Diwaniya province suffered from poverty in the former regime and it hoped to be treated with justice in the current government.”

“Diwaniya province which has a vital role in resisting the former regime, does not have any economic resource compared to the other provinces that have oil and terrorism sectors in addition to the border inlets,” he added.

“The province was targeted by the Oil Ministry by stopping providing it with the black oil that is used in the brick factories which resulted in increasing the prices of the bricks and made the citizens suffer from the increase of the prices,” he noted, assuring that “Unfortunately, Diwaniya provinces suffers from the marginalization where its citizens are not assigned in the key posts as if it does not have qualified persons.”
