MP calls to include citizens of Wasit province in Foreign Service Institute
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hadi al-Yasiri, called to include the citizens of Wassit province in the Foreign Service Institute.
In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday, he said “The citizens of Wassit province must be included within the Foreign Service Institute and not making it for the sons of the officials only.”
“Granting seats for Wassit citizens is to create balance in the institute and not granting the seats to the officials’ sons as being the only qualified persons in running the Iraqi Embassies,” he concluded.
The Parliamentary Foreign Relations announced on the second of September that the Foreign Ministry postponed the start of the 27th Course of the Foreign Service Institute.
