Talabani’s party denies intermediating to hold meeting between Maliki, two of PKK leaders

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The political office of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan headed by the President, Jalal Talabani, denied intermediating to hold a meeting between the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, and two leaders of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

The spokesperson of the office, Azad Jindiyani, stated in a press conference “The report of the Kurdish Awina Newspaper that was published on Tuesday over the meeting of two of the leaders of the PKK with Maliki by the intermediation of the PUK, is groundless.”
