Drug traffickers netted in Najaf

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The patrols of the Anti-Economic Crime Office within Najaf Police Department netted two drugs traffickers in central Najaf on Saturday.

The head of Media Office within Najaf Police Department, Colonel Muqdad al-Musawi, stated to IraqiNews.com “The patrols managed to capture the traffickers who forge the prescriptions of the doctors and their stamps to get the drugs.”

“After receiving the intelligence information in coordination with the pharmacists Assembly in the province, the patrols arrested them in central Najaf while they were driving a BMW vehicle,” he added.

“They were referred to the specialized judicial sides,” the source concluded.
