Accusations launched by KSA against Sadr, Hakim aim at agitating sectarianism, says Araji

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of Ahrar bloc of Sadr Trend, Baha al-Araji, pointed out that “The accusations launched by the media outlets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against the head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, and the head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, aim at agitating the sectarian sedition.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “There are media outlets in the KSA which intend to destabilize the situation in Iraq and to create sedition among the main communities in Iraq.”

“The accusations against Sadr and Hakim are intended to reduce the popularity of their trends and to create disputes between them and the Arabic system because Iraq is a part of this system,” he added.

“These accusations aim at isolating the Sunni majority in the Arabic Region from the national Shiite in Iraq,” he continued.

“Previously, KSA launched accusations,” he concluded.

Earlier, the formal Saudi Newspaper (Ukadh) stated “Some weapons and explosives were seized in a truck smuggled to Qatif city in KSA.”

“The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Hakim is behind the smuggling of those explosive materials,” the News agency added.

“We do not need to terrify anyone and do not afraid of anyone, but we are able to protect our territories and sustain its security and will not allow anyone to violate our sovereignty,” the Newspaper concluded.
