Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee, Humam Hamoudi, called the Iraqis in Canada to hold responsibility and reflect the perfect image about Iraq.
A statement by Hamoudi’s office received by IraqiNews.com on Sunday cited “A parliamentary delegation headed by Hamoudi has met the Iraqis in Canada on Saturday night where the Iraqi Ambassador to Canada has attended the meeting.”
“Hamoudi reviewed the latest political, security and economic updates in Iraq, assuring that the situation in Iraq needs more attention by the government and the parliament to be developed,” the statement added.
The statement quoted Hamoudi, as saying “Iraq aims to increase the oil production to support the economy,” calling “The Iraqis in Canada to reflect a perfect image about Iraq.”
“The Iraqis called the delegation to help moving the staff of the Iraqis returning to Iraq,” the statement concluded.
