2nd reading of proposal over running posts by acting officials to be done after Eid holiday, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Azad Abu Bakir, the member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, announced that the second reading of the suggestion of canceling running the posts by acting officials, will be done after the holiday of Eid al-Adhha.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Committee has a suggestion over canceling running the posts by acting officials, which was read for the first time and will be read for the second time after the holiday of Eid al-Adhha.”

“There are some crucial posts in the state that are run by acting officials where this is unacceptable issue that negatively affects the democratic political process in Iraq,” he added.

Earlier, MP, Talal al-Zoubai, of the Iraqiya Slate assured to IraqiNews.com” The main reason behind running the posts by acting officials is to impose the control of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, over those posts and expands his authorities in addition to hinder the performance of the parliament.”
