Radioactively contaminated materials seized in Dhi Qar

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Environment announced seizing of radioactively contaminated materials imported from Japan in Dhi Qar province.

A statement by the MoE quoted Spokesperson of the Ministry, Amir Ali al-Hasoun, as saying “The inspection teams associated to Dhi Qar Environment Department discovered radioactively contaminated materials in some spare parts imported via Basra seaports where they were illegally entered into the country.”
