Najaf Police Department sets security plan on Eid occasion

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The Command of Najaf Police Forces announced “Setting its security plan on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

The head of the Media Office of Najaf Police Department, Muqdad al-Musawi, stated to IraqiNews.com “The plan involves deploying fix and mobile checkpoints all over the province,” noting that “In response to the decision of Najaf Provincial Council, the roads will not be blocked, the women will be involved in this plan in addition to using Sonars to facilitate the arrival of the pilgrims coming to the city.”

“There forces which are deployed at the road between Karbala and Najaf provinces to protect this road during Arafa pilgrimage,” concluded.

For his part, the head of the Media Office within Najaf Governorate, Mohamed al-Khuzayi assured that “Today, Wednesday, and tomorrow, Thursday, will be an official holiday.”
