Timimi urges political blocs to speed up holding national meeting

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mansour al-Timimi, of the State of Law Coalition urged “The political blocs to invest the atmospheres of the current dialogues to speed up holding the national meeting.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he assured “The blocs have to find successful solutions for the crisis which could be reached through a frank and serious dialogue during the national meeting.”

“The blocs should attend the dialogues and present their demands,” he mentioned.

He expressed him optimism over the results of the recent meetings that were held between the Kurdish delegation and the Iraqi National Alliance.

It is worth mentioning that Talabani held several meetings with all the political sides over the political crisis and the national meeting where he called all them and the media outlets to stop the media escalation which hurdles the dialogues and the efforts exerted for reaching agreements among the political sides.

Iraq witnesses political crisis lasted for several months due to the disputes among the political sides related to the partnership and other issues which led some blocs to call for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, after holding meetings in Najaf and Erbil provinces.
