Barzani describes situations in Iraq as Getting worse

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, described the situations in Iraq as “Getting worse.’

A statement by the Kurdistani Regional Government received by IraqiNews.com cited “Barzani, during the meeting the delegation of the Kurdish sides headed by Burham Salih, stated that the political, economic and security situations in Iraq are getting worse and need more efforts to be fixed.”

“Barzani assured that the situations in Iraq need positive steps to deal with the current crisis according to the constitution and respecting its articles in addition to applying the political deals such as Erbil agreement which gave the legitimacy to the current government,” the statement added.

“The delegation reviewed the results of its talks with the officials in Baghdad where Barzani appreciated its efforts and assured that there is no crisis related to Kurds and Arab in Iraq, but the crisis is deeper and related to the authority in Iraq,” the statement pointed out.

“Barzani stressed the necessity of conducting dialogue after the holiday of Adhha Eid and set the good atmosphere to bring the success for the dialogue, assuring that it is the only means for settling the political crisis,” the statement concluded.
