MoT meets German Ambassador

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Transports, Hadi al-Ameri, hosted the German Ambassador to Iraq, Berta Wenker, and they discussed the means to promote the bilateral relations between the two countries.

The Ministry of Transports quoted Ameri as saying in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”Iraq is considered as an investment arena nowadays and Germany can contribute in accomplishing many projects adopting its experience and skills which proved its worthiness.”

The statement added ”Iraq has an honest intention to develop cooperation with Germany through the contracts which will be concluded between Iraq and Germany to equip the projects of the Ministry with the German technology.”

The statement pointed out ”The German ambassador expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the Minister and his efforts to upgrade the investments with Germany and preferring the German companies to work in Iraq.” \
