Daraji denies adding more articles within reforms proposal

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Shakir al-Daraji, the member of the reforms committee formed by the Iraqi National Alliance to settle the political crisis, denied adding more articles to the reforms proposal.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “We did not add any new article to the reforms proposal and what was discussed in the meeting with the Kurdish delegation, was to emphasis on the articles included in the reforms proposal.”

“The two sides stressed the necessity of conducting dialogue among the political blocs especially the INA and the Kurdistan Alliance in order to achieve the best settlement to the pending issues,” he added.

He pointed out “Settling the pending issues will be through the political deals, Erbil agreement, Najaf meeting and the reforms proposal in addition to the proposal of the President, Jalal Talabani that is of eight points, without violating the constitution.”
