Economic expert: Unemployed citizens more affected by inflation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The economic expert, Basim Jamil, stated “The Unemployed citizens are more affected by the inflation.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “There are many unemployed citizens who will be negatively affected by the inflation which will increase the ratio of poverty that is 23%.”

“The inflation will also affect those of limited incomes because the salaries are fixed and the prices are getting high,” he added, noting that “The inflation indicators of this year show that the inflation ratio increased in 6% from the last year.”

“Properly, the governmental program will provide 100 Thousand job opportunities within 2013 budget where this will help to decrease the ratio of the unemployment if the prices are not increased an more,” he concluded.
