Nusaiyf criticizes statements of PM of Kurdistan Region over disputed areas

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliya Nusaiyf of the Hurra Iraqiya bloc showed surprise over the statement of the Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region, Nijirvan Barzani, over the disputed areas when he described them as “Taken out from Kurdistan Region.”

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “We strongly condemn using such terms by Barzani in describing the disputed areas as taken out from Kurdistan Region where it is illegal and unconstitutional.”

“Using such terms shows that Kurdistan Region is a foreign country that is not related to Iraq while it is only the north of Iraq,” she added.

“We hope the politicians to keep away from the provocative statements that violate the constitution,” she concluded.
