Babel JC demands to expand its authorities

Babel, Hilla (IraqiNews.com) The Babel judicial Council complained that its granted authorities are inadequate and demanded the provincial council of Babel province to expand its authorities.

Member of Babel provincial council, Kadhim Shaalan Musa, reported to IraqiNews.com on Sunday ‘The authorities given for the judicial council are restricted and inadequate,” pointing that ”Many resolutions were issued by Babel judicial council but they were delayed because of the interference of the provincial council.”

Musa considered the interference of the provincial council as a violation for the law, stressing that ”The judicial council is a monitoring authority which is above governmental institutions.”
