Nineveh import 2 advanced machines to pack medicinal capsules

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Director of the General Company to manufacture medicines and medical supplies in Nineveh within Ministry of Industry and Minerals, the chemical engineer, Saad Kamal al-Din al-Ahamdi, announced importing two advanced machines to pack capsules from the Italian company (MG2) with production capacity that reachs 140,000 capsules per-hour for each and with total cost of EUR (860,000).

The Media office of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Monday ”The new imported machines are considered among the most modern machines which are used in packing capsules according to latest global specifications adopted in the pharmaceutical industry since the machines are runned by computers and equipped with digital screens that work by touch technology,” noting that “The machines have an advanced technology to identify the right weight and it will stop in case of any defect.”

The statement added ”These two machines will contribute in increasing and developing the capsules industry in terms of quantity and quality,” pointing that ”The general company of manufacturing medicines and medical supplies sent a delegation composed of engineers and technicians to Italy to get the necessary trainings to setup, operate and maintain the machines.”
