Estimated costs of projects to be announced in 2013

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Planning assured that “The Council of Ministers will announce the estimated costs of the projects when submitting them for implementation.”

The official spokesperson of the Ministry of Planning, Abdul Zahra al-Hindawi, reported in statement to IraqiNews.com on Wednesday ”The Council of Ministers decided during its regular session on last Tuesday to approve the suggestion of the Minister of Planning concerning the announcement of the estimated costs of the projects when these projects are announced starting from January, 1, 2013.”

The statement added ”The aim of this resolution is to avoid the corruption cases which can ocure when submitting tenders to implement the projects.” \
