Iqbal stresses submitting Final Accounts of 2012 with budget of 2013

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mohamed Iqbal, of the Wasat Alliance stressed “The importance of submitting the Final Accounts of 2012 with the budget of 2013 to inform the people about them.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The budget of 2013 must solve the economic problems which Iraq suffers from,” calling “To encourage the investment through the budget to provide jobs for thousands of unemployed young people.”

“The Agricultural situation must be improved and to avoid the monopolized economy which threatens the country by supporting the federal system,” he added.

“The Final Accounts must be submitted to ensure transparency and to punish the dilatory sides,” he concluded.

It is worth mentioning that the head of the Integrity Parliamentary Committee, Bahaa al-Araji, confirmed that “The Final Accounts of the budget of 2012 will be presented to the parliament with the draft of the 2013 financial budget.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “We called the Council of Ministers to present the final accounts with the draft of 2013 budget.”

“The final accounts will be discussed during the upcoming weeks,” he concluded.

Earlier, the member of the Financial Parliamentary Committee, Majida al-Timimi, revealed that the parliament did not receive any final account for the financial budgets since 2003.
