Timimi urges blocs to speed up holding national meeting

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mansour al-Timimi, of the State of Law Coalition urged the political blocs to speed up holding the national meeting to settle the political crisis.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The citizen get fed up with the continuity of the crisis in the country and hindering the endorsement of the important laws which concerned them.”

“This crisis is negatively reflected on the political process in the country so all the blocs have to present concessions for the sake of Iraqis and Iraq to hold the national meeting to solve the crisis,” he concluded.

Iraq witnesses political crisis lasted for several months due to the disputes among the political sides related to the partnership and other issues which led some blocs to call for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, after holding meetings in Najaf and Erbil provinces.
