Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, and the German Ambassador to Iraq discussed bilateral relations between the two countries.
A statement by Nijaifi’s office received by IraqiNews.com quoted him as saying while receiving the Ambassador “The German people are friendly and Germany is a developed country so we seek developing advanced relations with this country.”
“For her part, the German Ambassador confirmed Germany‘s desire to enhance its relations with Iraq,” the statement assured.
“Both sides discussed the crucial debated issues like the case of the Central Bank of Iraq and the political process as well as the consequences of the Syrian crisis on Iraq,” the statement concluded.
