Communication system to be installed in Dhi-Qar

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Dhi-Qar province concluded a contract with a global company to equip a wireless communications system which provides services for the people of the province.

The Communications and Postal Company reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday ”The communications system will cover Shatra, Fajar, Shukh market, Bathaa and Gharaf areas with total cost reach IQD (4) million.”

The source added “The communication system will provide communications and internet services like phone calls and SMS,” pointing that ”The communication system will be installed within (182) day.”

The statement pointed out ”This contract is considered a point of transformation towards developing and promoting the services in communications and information fields to follow the plan which was set by the province to develop the services in Dhi-Qar province.”
