Nusayif calls to nominate independent figures to assume security Ministries

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliya Nusayif, of the Hurra Iraqiya Coalition called to nominate candidates who do not belong to political sides to assume the posts of the security Ministries.

She stated to IraqiNews.com “It is difficult to settle the file of the security Ministries because it was involved in Erbil Agreement due to the confessionalism.”

“The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, has concerns about nominating candidate who are affected by the political disputes to assume these Ministries,” she added.

She emphasized “Keeping the security institutes away from the political affiliations.”

It is worth mentioning that the Security Ministries are run by acting Ministers due to the political disputes especially among the blocs over the candidates for these posts.
