Iraq to present Sudan financial aid, says Dabbagh

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Spokesperson of the Iraqi Government, Ali al-Dabbagh, clarified the reasons of the Government’s approval to grant Sudan $ 10 million.

Dabbagh mentioned in a statement received by IraqiNews.com on Sunday that “The Council of Ministers decided in its regular session of last Tuesday to present Sudan financial aid of $ 10 million to alleviate the sufferings of the affected people in Darfur where the sum will be allocated from the federal budget of 2013.”

“The Iraqi Government aims through this initiative to extend a helping hand to our Arab brothers especially those who suffer from hard times,” he added.
