Mayahi calls politicians to follow example of Iraqi people’s unity

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Aziz al-Mayahi of the Iraqiya Slate described the position of Anbar province’s people when they warmly received and welcomed the pilgrims returning from the holy lands in KSA after performing the pilgrimage rituals as “an example for the unity of the Iraqi people”.

Mayahi mentioned in a statement received by IraqiNews.com that “The warm reception of Anbar’s people for the pilgrims returning from Mecca in KSA gave clear example for the unity and cohesion of the different Iraqi communities.”

He called on the “politicians to follow example of the unity of the Iraqi people and adopt this unity as a lesson for tolerance and solidarity.”
