Romanian FM arrives in Kurdistan Region

Sulaimaniya (IraqiNews.com) The Romanian Foreign Minister arrived Sunday in Sulaimaniya province in Kurdistan Region on Sunday evening.

A statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan received by IraqiNews.com cited “Titus Corlatean, the Romanian Foreign Minister arrived at International Airport where he was received by a number of partisan and governmental officials.”

“The Romanian FM visited Sulaimaniya this evening with the aim of opening his country’s consulate in Kurdistan region and is expected to meet with Iraqi president Jalal Talabani,” the statement concluded.
