Zamili: Changing posts of security leaders to reveal new corruption issues

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member of the Security and Defense Committee, Hakim al-Zamili, considered changing the security leaders as “A positive step and a response to the call of the Committee.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said ” This change will reveal new corruption issues,” noting that “Changing the posts of the security leaders is better than changing the security leaders because there are pressures against the General Commander of the Armed Forces that resulted in this change.”

“The security system does not allow any officers to stay in his post for more than three years,” he added, pointing out “Most of the officers stayed in their current posts for four years that resulted in the lack of security stability.”
