Interference among authorities behind weak performance in provinces, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Shareef Sulaiman, of the Kurdistani Alliance attributed the weak performance in the provinces to the interference of the authorities between the Governors and the Provincial Councils.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The PCs did not accomplish their tasks as required due to the challenge between the executive authorities and the legislative authorities in the provinces.”

“This challenge led to keeping these authorities away from their duties,” he added.

“The authorities granted to the Governors and the PCs are not clear,” he concluded.
