MoWR implements project to remove sediments from Hafar River in Dhi Qar

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Water Resources announced launching a project to remove the sediments from Hafar River in Dhi Qar province.

A statement by the Ministry received by IraqiNews.com mentioned that “The engineering and technical personnel within the Ministry implemented works to remove and clean Hafar River in Dhi Qar,” noting that “the river is (16) km length, width of (50) meters and (3) meters depth.”
