Talabani’s initiative over crisis fruitless, says Kartani
He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Talabani has no magical stick to settle the political problems,” noting that “There are no positive indications over a reaching a solution for the crisis.”
“The political reforms start from solving the crisis which all the political sides must involve all political sides,” he added.
“We hope the meeting of the three Presidencies to result in a way to solve the crisis,” he concluded.
It is worth mentioning that Talabani held several meetings with all the political sides over the political crisis and the national meeting where he called all them and the media outlets to stop the media escalation which hurdles the dialogues and the efforts exerted for reaching agreements among the political sides.
Iraq witnesses political crisis lasted for several months due to the disputes among the political sides related to the partnership and other issues which led some blocs to call for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, after holding meetings in Najaf and Erbil provinces.
