Environment Ministry calls victims of mines to register in statistical program for rehabilitating disabled in Dhi Qar

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Environment called the victims of mines and ordnances of war in Dhi Qar to accelerate the registration in the statistical program for rehabilitating the disabled people which has been launched by the Mines Affairs Department associated to the Ministry.

A statement by the MoE cited that “The Mines Affairs Dept. has announced earlier the launch of a field statistical program to register the victims of the mines and remnants of war in Dhi Qar province.”

“This programs aims to develop a precise database for those victims in order to identify the accurate number of the victims where the program’s findings will be adopted formally in all the international forums,” the statement concluded.
