Iqbal criticizes policy of Iraqi Trade Ministry in providing Ration Card’ items

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Mohamed Iqbal of the Wasat Alliance attributed the foot-dragging in the file of the Ration Card to the poor mechanisms followed by the Ministry of Trade and its policy in concluding contracts.

Iqbal said that “The Iraqi Parliament approved the demand of the Trade Ministry concerning allocating additional funds to the Ration Card during the former federal budget,” calling the MoT to improve the food items of the Ration Cards and address the tarry in providing the citizens with RC’s food materials.”

He called the “Iraqi Government to present its plan concerning the role of the private sector in supplying the Ration Card with food materials after the ongoing governmental failure over the previous years in supplying it in a required form.”
