Sadrist MP: America supports keeping Iraq under UN 7th Chapter

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Jawad al-Hasnawi, of Ahrar bloc assured that America seeks limiting the regional role and interests of Iraq.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The restrictions are not imposed only by Kuwait rather there are hidden restrictions imposed against Iraq by other Arabic countries.”

“America calls for relieving Iraq from the 7^th Chapter of UN Charter but again it contradicts itself by calling to keep Iraq under this Chapter,” he added.

“Iraq will remain under this Chapter by the US support which is based on a wide-range perspective,” he concluded.
