IED goes off in Anbar

Anbar, Ramadi (IraqiNews.com) A soldier of the Iraqi Army was injured due to an Improvised Explosive Device explosion in southern Fallujah city.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Tuesday ”The IED, which was emplaced on a roadside exploded targeting an Iraqi Army patrol in Amiriya district of southern Fallujah city,” noting that “The explosion of the IED resulted in injuring a soldier of the Army patrol.”

The source added “A security force rushed to the explosion scene and transported the injured soldier to a nearby hospital for treatment.”
